Catalytic converters and California rules
California only accepts a replacement converter that is approved for that exact vehicle, and a genuine Nissan converter built for the car is the most direct way to meet that rule. There are 69 converters with an integrated exhaust manifold here, plus stand alone units such as 208A2-6CN0C for the 2021 to 2023 Altima, 208A2-9UH0A for the 2022 to 2024 Murano and 208A2-9PF0A for the 2017 to 2018 Pathfinder. The 2020 to 2022 Frontier uses two, 200A0-9BT0A and 200E0-9BT0A, so check which position yours is before ordering.
Trucks and performance models
Coverage runs past the everyday sedans. 208S2-EZ42B fits the 2018 to 2019 TITAN XD, and B08B3-JF20A is listed for the 2011 to 2024 GT-R. Older SUVs are covered as well, down to B08A0-5W500 for the 2002 to 2004 Pathfinder. On a truck that tows, a converter works hotter and harder, so a failing one is worth catching before the next smog test.
Mufflers and pipes
There are 109 mufflers and 112 exhaust pipes on the page. Examples include 20100-ZR81A for the 2007 to 2011 Versa, 20100-ZK40A for the 2007 to 2008 Maxima, 20100-1AA2B for the 2009 to 2014 Murano, 20110-3NT1C for the 2014 to 2018 Altima and 20100-EZ31C for 2016 to 2024 applications. A muffler built for the car keeps the factory sound and back pressure, which matters on a vehicle that still has to clear inspection.
Heat shields and hangers
Most exhaust noises are not the muffler at all. A loose heat shield rattles at idle, and a broken hanger lets the system sag until it knocks against the body. The page lists 80 exhaust heat shields, 62 manifold heat shields and 69 hangers, all inexpensive fixes compared with the parts they protect.
Before you order
Add your vehicle or search by VIN. Exhaust parts split by engine and drivetrain, and the page also returns some camshaft followers that share an exhaust name, which the vehicle filter clears out. Related pages: brake parts, towing parts, cargo accessories and touch up paint.
FAQs
Can I use an aftermarket catalytic converter in California?
Only one approved for your exact vehicle. A genuine Nissan converter made for the car is the simplest way to meet that requirement.
Why does my Frontier list two converters?
The 2020 to 2022 Frontier uses two converters in different positions, 200A0-9BT0A and 200E0-9BT0A, so confirm which one you are replacing.
What causes a rattle under the car?
Usually a loose heat shield or a broken hanger rather than the muffler. Both are listed on this page.
Are these genuine Nissan parts?
Yes. Every exhaust part on this page is a genuine Nissan part supplied by Empire Nissan.
